Alamosa PD Seizes Over 1000 Fentanyl Pills, Meth and Cocaine at 8th Street Residence

Alamosa, CO – On Saturday, May 4th, Detectives with the Alamosa Police Department executed a search warrant at 912 8th Street.

During this operation and while executing the search warrant, Detectives with APD, along with the Monte Vista Police Department, Conejos County Sheriff’s Office, and Alamosa County Sheriff’s Office located numerous items in the residence that appeared to be drug-related. Detectives located over a thousand suspected fentanyl pills, methamphetamines, cocaine, and an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency seized from the residence.

During this operation, a male subject identified as Nicholas Hepworth, 42-year-old Alamosa resident, was taken into custody and transported to the Alamosa County Detention Center for unlawful distribution of a schedule II (Fentanyl), unlawful possession of a schedule II substance. Hepworth is on parole with the Colorado Department of Corrections for similar drug-related charges. Hepworth had bonded out of Alamosa County Jail on similar drug-related charges when he was arrested on February 29, 2024. Based on these facts, Hepworth is a significant danger to the community, and the bond was set at $50,000 cash only.
